Achieving ways to regain the costs of or expenditures on an activity. If, for example, a project will ultimately earn money, its costs could be recovered and returned and reused to enhance the project and/or to reduce its costs as well as provide for various financial mechanisms to sustain GEF project interventions after GEF direct involvement in the project.
