The Implementing Agencies are the United Nations and Bretton Woods organizations that are responsible for developing projects for GEF funding, and implementing them through designated executing agencies. The implementing agencies are the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Environment Programme and the World Bank. (Instrument, para. 22)
