Description

The project aims to provide marginalized communities with diversified economic opportunities through adoption of rainwater harvesting and alternative livelihood systems as long term strategy to mitigate the effects of recurrent droughts.


To achieve the overall aim, proposed project activities include:

  • Construction of water pan
  • Construction of auxiliary facilities
  • Technical Assistant's salary
  • Dam survey, designs and layout of designs
  • Community mobilization
  • Supervision of dam construction
  • Review of dam design and project implementation plan
  • Technical supervision, monitoring and evaluation
  • Provide Technical Assistant to coordinate field activities
  • Financial management and reporting
