In addition, I have experience working on international development projects on the ground in Africa. I have taken part in various environmental initatives in Namibia, and undertook an 8 week long Water and Sanitation project in Uganda. The latter involved teaching in a remote rural village school about water and sanitation issues; constructing a water tank for the school and local community and protecting unprotected water sources in order to improve the quality of drinking water, and subsequently personal health.

Essentially, a necessity for life. Everyone worldwide should have sufficient access to clean, safe drinking water as a basic human right. It is also perfect for Tall Ship sailing adventures!

Background & Experience
